We are very proud to announce LTGEN John Caligari AO, DSC (retd) has joined REKON Group as an Executive Coach Consultant.
Lieutenant General John Caligari AO, DSC is a retired senior officer of the Australian Army who currently provides executive leadership coaching and consulting and is the director on several company boards. He is the patron of the 1st Battalion Association, a White Ribbon Ambassador and a member of Townsville Rotary.
He spent 36 years with the Australian Defence Force, during which time he served in the 3rd Brigade, Australia’s short notice deployable combat force located in Townsville, at every rank including battalion and brigade command. He served on combat operations in Somalia, East Timor, and in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan he served as the commander in charge of all Australian forces in the Middle East area of operations.
His last job in Defence was managing the requirements and integration of Australian Defence Force warfighting capability including balancing a $15bn capital budget. He retired from the Army in 2015 as a 3-star general.
