Peter Burnheim

Peter Burnheim is an Executive Consultant at Rekon Group, where he helps leadership teams align, make clear decisions quickly and build a high-performance culture. He leads StratDo® programs and works with founders and executive teams as a senior adviser.
Peter served in the Australian Army from 1999 to 2017, including 10 years in the Special Air Service Regiment, where he was a Squadron Commander. He deployed on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and in other complex environments.
In 2016 he co-founded Sonder and was its Chief Operating Officer until 2025. With his co-founders he built the product, operating model and team, and led the company's move from personal safety into a wellbeing platform.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy and trained at the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
