    Supply Chain Optimisation

End-to-end supply chain analysis, network design, and logistics optimisation. We apply computational models to reduce cost, improve resilience, and accelerate throughput.

    What We Do

Computational rigour applied to physical networks

Supply chain decisions are the ones most likely to be made on intuition and most punished for it. Network footprint, inventory positioning, transport mode and lane design, supplier concentration: each carries cost, service and resilience consequences that only show up when the whole system is modelled together.

This is where our technology partnerships earn their place. We have offered AI solutions since 2020 through our partnership with Wolfram, and we work with NCS on enterprise technology integration and deployment at scale. Together that gives us genuine computational modelling capability: network optimisation, simulation of demand and disruption scenarios, and location and routing analysis run against your own data rather than a benchmark.

The model is a means, not the deliverable. The output is a set of network and operating decisions your leaders have chosen through the StratDo® cycle, with an execution plan behind them and the analytical tooling handed over so your team can rerun the scenarios as conditions change.

    What good looks like

    • Network footprint chosen on evidence, not history
    • Landed cost and cost to serve made visible
    • Resilience tested against real disruption scenarios
    • Modelling capability retained in your team

    How the method applies here

We do the heavy lifting on preparation, then work collaboratively with your leaders at every decision gate.

    DEFINE™

We frame the supply chain problem in business terms: cost, service, resilience or throughput.

    DECIDE™

Modelled network and logistics options are compared on total cost, service and risk exposure.

    DIRECT™

The chosen design becomes a sequenced implementation plan with owners and resourcing.

    DO™

Implementation runs with embedded support through the transition period.

    REFLECT™

Performance is measured against the model, and the model is recalibrated with real results.

    Typical Engagement

    What the work covers

    01

    End to end diagnostic

A full view of the chain from supplier through to customer, including cost to serve, service performance, inventory positioning and concentration risk.

    02

    Network design modelling

Computational optimisation of footprint, facility location, lane structure and transport mode, built with our Wolfram partnership.

    03

    Scenario and resilience simulation

Demand volatility, supplier failure and disruption scenarios simulated so the design is chosen for the conditions it will actually face.

    04

    Technology integration

Where systems change is required, NCS supports enterprise integration and deployment at scale alongside the operational design.

    05

    Implementation and handover

Sequenced rollout with embedded support, plus handover of the analytical tooling so your team can rerun scenarios independently.
